NVMBRS is about COLORS and PRINTS.
Our designs start from creating original in-house custom prints, and then finding ways of instilling optimized colors in the printing process. We carefully plan and test the most effective materials to both express and preserve our designs - in making unique accessories as wearable pieces of art that can be collectible and enjoyable over time. NVMBRS are like Novembers where changes happen and memories made.
NVMBRS is about ASSEMBLAGE.
NVMBRS began from a shared passion between Jin Lee and D.W. Suh.
She was a former sculptor and fashion textile/jewelry designer for high-end fashion houses in Europe. In the US, she has been designing and directing printed textiles departments for major fashion brands.
His background is in architecture and construction in the U.S. where primarily working on custom luxury residential homes in California. He also is a partner and principal of an architectural office in Southern California.
NVMBRS is about CONSERVATION and SUSTAINABILITY.
We focus on various methods for minimizing wastage and maximizing quality by implementing a small batch approach rather than sheer mass production. We start the process with in-house engineered designs and precision tools in efforts to promote efficacy and efficiency in making our products.
We select environmental conscious partners and eco-friendly printers who are equipped with state-of-the-art filtering systems and a shared commitment to sustainability.
For future projects in the works, we are looking into upcycled fabrics and historical preservation means into creating new accessories.
